BASIS presented its National ICT Awards 68 to projects

The information technology industry in Bangladesh has been honoured with awards by the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) for its innovative products and service initiatives. This past Monday night, in a hotel in the country's capital, BASIS presented its "BASIS National ICT Awards" to 68 projects over 36 categories. This is the fifth time this event has taken place. In the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards competition, there will be participation from a number of projects that have previously won awards.

Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed released a video message portraying the awards event. He stated in the message that the information and communication technology sector's export income now stands at 1.4 billion dollars. By 2025, we intend to raise this income to $5 billion.

Lifetime Association Chairman and Chief Judge Abdullah H. Kafi supervised the evaluation process for the BASIS National ICT Awards. He stated that winning an award in the APICTA Awards competition is difficult. Therefore, award-winning projects as champions must prepare extremely well.

Russell T. Ahmed, the president of BASIS, said at the event that BASIS will work to enhance the efficiency of the best projects that have won Apicta Awards. Numerous Bangladeshi projects have won the Apicta Awards competition over a number of years.

NM Ziaul Alam, the Senior Secretary of the Department of Information and Communication Technology, and Md. Jasim Uddin, the President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were the honored guests of the occasion.

In this arrangement of BASIS, 21 projects have been champions. These are Rabbithole (Media & Entertainment), Fluent CRM (Digital Marketing & Advertising), Savings Products (Banking, Insurance & Finance), Incibe (Marketplaces), Easy Merchant APP (Retail & Distribution), Travel (Tourism & Hospitality), Foreign Friends (Community Service), Classmates (Education),IMCI (Health & Wellbeing), Doctor Cultivator & Protecto-Smart UV Disinfection Device (Sustainability & Environment), Equilibrium (Agriculture), InstaSure (FinTech), Synergy (ICT Services), Case-Track (Professional Services), Simplex VPN (Security Solutions) , Exchange (Digital Government), Covid-19 Telehealth Centers (Private Sector & Government), Blood Bags (Students), Mobile Devices for Persons with Disabilities (Cross Sector) and Energy Management Systems (Startups).
