Meta is launching a new AI platform for businesses and corporate customers. Through an initiative named “Meta Enterprise Platform”, the company aims to make its various AI technologies and services easy for businesses and their customers to use. To lead the new platform, Meta has also appointed Chirag “CJ” Desai — chief executive officer of data platform MongoDB — as its Chief Enterprise Platform Officer.

Meta said businesses will be able to easily use its latest AI models, agents and various technologies through the new platform. Initially, the initiative will bring Meta’s personal AI assistant “Muse”, “Meta Business Agent”, “Muse API” and “Muse Code”, along with other AI features. This will allow businesses to use Meta’s AI technology to run their operations and drive business growth.

On joining Meta, Desai said that over the coming years AI will bring fundamental changes to how all kinds of organizations approach innovation, business growth, customer service and day-to-day operations. Besides building advanced AI models and agent technologies, Meta has experience in giving a large number of advertisers and businesses the opportunity to work at scale. The goal of the Meta Enterprise Platform is to turn Meta’s AI technologies into products and services that organizations can use directly in their businesses.

Earlier this month, Meta launched “Muse”, a personal AI assistant that can send emails on a user’s behalf, book travel and perform various other tasks. With the new initiative, Meta is now opening Muse and its other AI technologies to businesses and developers. Source: TechCrunch.
